Director of Coaching and Player Development
The Director of Coaching will work with volunteer coaches to foster the development of sound coaching practices consistent with the NYSA’s mission. They will plan, publicize, conduct and/or ensure an annual workshop is conducted for volunteer coaches to provide an overview of coaching responsibilities in alignment with the NYSA programs.  The individual will also be responsible for maintaining a directory of instruction resource materials for NYSA coaches.  This position will be a voting member of the NYSA board.

Recreational Coordinator
The Recreational Coordinator will organize, administer and oversee the fall Saturday recreational soccer operation in alignment with the NYSA. They will assist in soliciting and placement of volunteer recreational coaches. The individual will work with the NYSA Field and Equipment Coordinator to ensure teams have adequate equipment, field time and uniforms; work with the NYSA Registrar to coordinate player registrations and special activities (e.g. pictures); and coordinate with the Director of Coaching to ensure adequate training information is available for recreation coaches. This is a newly created position and will be a voting member of the NYSA board.

Travel Coordinator
The Travel Coordinator will organize, administer and oversee the activities of the NYSA Travel Program. They will assist in soliciting and placement of volunteer Travel coaches. The individual will work with the NYSA Field and Equipment Coordinator to ensure teams have adequate equipment, field time and uniforms; work with the NYSA Registrar to coordinate player registrations and special activities (e.g. pictures); and coordinate with the Director of Coaching to ensure adequate training information is available for travel coaches. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating tryouts; ensuring players are properly selected and placed on teams according to their appropriate level of play. This is a newly created position to help bring NYSA teams to a more competitive level of play and will be a voting member of the NYSA board.
